Panini Prizm is one of my favorite products.  The cards are on an extra heavy paper stock and almost feel as if they are made of metal.  I love the color parallels that are sporadically placed in packs.  The only thing that could make this product look classier would be the inclusion of MLB team logos, which currently isn’t possible since Topps has the exclusive rights for way too many more years.

Tonight’s pack is from a 24 pack retail box of Panini Prizm which I got for a very reasonable $19.95 from Steel City Collectibles (price has been dropped even lower to $17.95 this week).  As I try to switch over from retail to all hobby boxes I couldn’t pass up on this deal from SCC.  In store if buying by the pack $20 would only get you 6 packs before tax, so in essence I quadrupled the packs bought for the same price by going with SCC.

Before I share tonight’s hits I want to remind you all that this Saturday will be the inaugural Steel City Collectibles Saturday.  I will be cracking an entire box of 2013-14 Panini Titanium NHL hockey cards.  Please make sure to stop by as I break a whole box, and I will be offering coupon codes from Steel City for money off cases of Titanium.

Now, here are tonight’s hits:

2013 Panini Prizm Baseball 24 pack retail box from Steel City Collectibles

The Cespedes is one of the nicer rookies cards of his I have pulled. I really like the Rookie Relevance inserts in Panini Prizm.

Tonight’s pack rates as a YEAH for me with the hit on the Cespedes and Rosario rookie cards.

Keep on cracking everyone, and please start sharing your hits with me!  I will post your hits here on Wax Cracker.
